# Opening Your Fund

### Navigate to the "Become a Guru" Page

You'll need to pick a chain, connect a wallet, and sign a message to start the create flow

### Choose a fund name and fund ticker

The fund name will be displayed as the fund title on the dapp. The ticker will represent the fund tokens that are minted.

### Set Fund Settings

Set Minimum user deposit and Minimum Withdrawal Cooldown

### Make an Initial Deposit

Initial Deposit is $500, $100 of which is used to buy back and burn $GURU.

### Submit

Once the transaction is completed, your fund is live and users can buy ownership of it on your fund page!
